every once in awhile i'll go to a website that will display in fractions or symbols, then once that happens my ichat will start doing that...
anyoen have this happen/know how to fix it? even when i change fonts in ichat, incoming messages are still messed up and every new message i type defaults to helvetica fractions. quitting and restarting don't help either

i've had that happen in email. Take your helevetica fractions font out of Library>Fonts and that should do the trick.
Every once in a while if I have that font installed my mail app will pick it up as the default.
