I was extremely depressed this past summer when I discovered that I had not gotten into the 2nd year of Mass Communication at my university. I've been contacting everyone possible while trying to get information and I've just been waiting and waiting to hear about my student loan, my acceptance, my job, etc, etc.
This month seems to be amazing. I've seen relatives that I haven't seen forever ; I got accepted into the English program at my school and I can finally register earlier than other students and have some direction in my life ; I have a great summer job ; and I finally got through to my pay supervisor this morning and will be receiving my major paycheck really soon!
Now all I have to do is pass that annoying driving test, get that bank loan to help pay for tuition, and get some work done!
I feel amazing today! Anyone else feel really great about their lives right now? I remember writing about how I just wanted to give up a few months ago.

awesome jaline, girl. it's nice to feel productive and have a sense that you're going somewhere.
this summer, on the contrary, has been time for restoration for me. got laid off and just simply enjoying my off time while re-evaluating my career and just life in general. so far so good, though this may end soon..

I'm feeling pretty good about life right now. Just had my 3 year wedding anniversary, work is absolutely crazy, busy both contracting fulltime and more freelance than I can handle at night. new laptop.
The only thing I could ask for is more free time.

jaline, we all have one of those years. as we get older, the problems we face change and sometimes become more difficult.
i had a bad year last year in general. but now, things are better. i am not sure if the actual situation got any better, but my mentality is definitely positive.
it's all about how you decide to deal with it. let's do a group hug!

happy to hear jaline. i'm in a similar situation where life seems to be unfolding in front of me and i'm enjoying every moment.
