Got a client here who wants me to produce him a brochure but his existing logo is pretty ugly:
I have convinced him to let me redo it but he hasnt got the funds for me to spend long on it, his thoughts are more modern and clean, heres what I have amended it to:
Any comments?

the house is horribly proportioned, the puzzle piece shadow looks like a house with mickey mouse ears instead, and the typography needs much more finesse.

This is just my opinion:
-The shape of the house is way to basic
-I think the shadow should be in front since it has a distinct shape to it.
-I think there are better fitting fonts out there

Thanks kids, i agree, just got no time to spend looking at it, other jobs are more prevelent so i guess ill just try and go with what you reckon!

Is that 'Inspira', the custom, corporate typeface of GE.? If it is, you for sure are not allowed to use it on other projects not related to GE..

yeah what who said. the img in the original logo looks a lot better, just change the font, and kern it better and you are done.

I like the old one.
The original one is better as a sign. Though the font is rubbish. So i suggest do completely new one or work on existings type.

i thought the shadow was of a moose, hiding behind the house.
