Put
< embed src="slideshow.swf" width="500" height="375" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" >< /embed > Just before the < /object > tag

I just checked. I'm on OS X 10.4.2 with Safari 2.0 and it's not working. Why not use flash for the entire nav? There doesn't seem to be a need for it to be html-based.

here is a screen capture of what is happening
http://industry73.com/Safari-mak…
It looks like it is a issue with the Z-index
the Flash player wants to be ontop of the world, you need to put it in it's place.
- tomkat0
listen to 10.2 and me and quit bugging with flash z-index..
!

It's still not working on Safari 2.0 OSX 10.4.2 The above comment would be the best way to go. Make your nav and flash all one piece.
OFF SUBJECT:
I don't know how attached you are to your logo. Maybe make the broken heart the profiles of a couple making out. I think it would flow a lot better.
- hiten0
thanks for the logo suggestion Tpar i didnt design it so i have no say he likes it and wont change it.
i guess ill just have to make it all one file i preferred it as it is now for easy updating since i wanted the client to be able to do it
