sleep well Robin,
There aren't enough like you.

edifying links, unfit. ta.
vespa, that's a shame. i hope your mate and her family are holding up okay. it's horrific that they've had to wait so long, no?
i've been thinking i need to get myself a bicycle, too. are you afraid of the traffic and such?

(Aug 8 05, 03:31)She should be.
Hope you've got one of those really fashionable helmets too. If you haven't, let me tell you the story about my Dad's racing buddy....

yea great links unfit.
my mate and her family have been inspirational. the service was amazing, african drumming to send him off and we all sang at the burial to keep everyone's spirits up.
His uncle did a tribute at the service, telling us about all the work that Christian did in the US and in west africa with underprivilaged kids, and said the most simple and wonderful thing i can imaging being said at your eulogy: "He left the world a little bit better than he found it."
imagine if everyone could do that, just make the world a little bit better than it was when we found it.
and re riding, i've found a brilliant route along the grand union canal that goes from westbourne park and comes out just above little wormwood scrubs, it's great! all these little duck families swimming along and people fishing and living on barges, it's another world under there!

They killed him. He opposed the war in Iraq.

Of course they did.

He's still alive ... according to his website.

(Aug 8 05, 05:04)Don't get me wrong. I liked the man.
He was very gnomish though.
And ginger.
But its still a shame.
- plamensk10
He was a keen walker and cyclist and a keen follower of horse racing.
and
Robin Cook, 59, has died after collapsing while hill walking in north-west Scotland.
You lot buying that?

(Aug 8 05, 05:10)Now we've to pay for it too??
- skt0
Jesus. He had a fucking heart attack. It happens. He was Scottish so 59 is not a bad innings.
So yes, i'm buying that.
