I've go my mac out of the cupboard (12in powrbook)... some questions... can i tun off anti aliasing of text? and can i make it smaller... as this screen is only 1024 768... ts like being in 1998

Check your font smoothing options in System Preferences > Appearance

Finder > View > Show view options..
"text size"
to make text smaller, you can also adjust the size of your icons there..

It's a desktop extender that allows iBooks to have an external monitor that doesn't must mirror the laptop (which is useless) but acts as a seperate screen giving you twice the area.
I've been using it on my 14" for almost a year now with no problems.

i have a powerbook... i think i can do that anyway... as i use it for presentation on our dell big telly at work... might be wrong though!
