so i have a 24 page magazine/catalog going to the printer tomorrow afternoon and it comes back from the client for final changes today, two days late, with a boatload of changes - moving things around (from page to page, etc), at least 20 changes per page even wants to redesign some of the stuff.
dude alread approved the design 2 weeks ago and gave me copy a week and a half late to begin with. now he is mad that i'm not meeting my deadline. this is the shit.

explain to the client that doing these changes means that not only will the catalog be late, but you're also going to charge them up the arse to do it now...

yeah its in there... my account manager is currently on the phone telling him whats up.
still aggrivating though. this guy does the same thing every year, so he has to understand it takes time to make that amount of changes

Just ranting...
Few knows just how much work needs to be done. Delivering just "the changes" - throwing pictures around and whatnot could be somewhat equal to...say accountants throwing broken and messed up excel sheets around, leaving the reciever hanging there with a file he or she can hardly open.
Luckily, when the lot of the more computer litterate folks like you, me and all those younger grows up and gets in those positions no one shouldn't have to deal with those kind of things any more.
If that would be to some comfort to know...
It's friday. Time for beer.
