indianapolis is worse than columbus... its bigger, but there is even less there except the brodog bars on meridian. i've been to heavyweights and one other agency up there, so at least there's some decent design going on. had a show at print resources @ stutz in jan.
columbus sucks because there simply is no good nightlife or stuff to check out. everything around short north is boring.
i'm in bloomington, where everyone is 20-something, so i guess that's why i think everywhere else is slow and boring.
my dad works at artglo that made that huge ART sign at CCAD and the owner is friends with les wexner, so maybe i'll work that to get inside that stealth bomber looking building

Jack, I just finished my web-monkey stint at WilliamsRandall. It was depressing, but now I can do my own thing.
Freelancing is easy as pie in the midWest though. Cheap living costs+International work=easy street.

Just move about 15 minutes outside of Ann Arbor, MI
having lived in Baltimore, San Francisco and DC it sure is a refreshing change. Working from home office for my company. Nice to go down to the lake for some fishin' at lunchtime tho.
Whats up with Toledo? Is great, is it a hole...it's hard to tell with all of that Rameses III - style concrete work going on...

Fate - So you got hooked up with all your freelance connections by working for Williams Randall? Is the local scene that bad? I moved here from Greensboro, NC to live with my girlfriend. I figured Indy would be a step up but after about 1 month I haven't found anything.
