the website isn't really what i want crit. 'cause there's nothing on it but PDFs but rather the work or even the presentation of the work.
thanks for the help, any comments harsh or kind are welcome.

i think if you're portfolio starts off with a formal "HELLO", it should end with a formal "GOODBYE" rather than an informal "SEE YA!"
also, do you plan on putting your work onto this website in the future? i would think it would be frustrating to make someone have to look through all of your work. at the very least, aim to make use of some of the wonderful interactive features that acrobat has to offer. make your table of contents link to the different sections, throw in some bookmarks, etc.
just a thought.

Not bad.
I'll have to agree with the tone of the closer-- it should be more formal, all things considered.A PDF portfolio is a good resource to have-- a prospective client can download it, and you can use it as it's own example of your publishing skills.
that said, it's a little sparse along those lines-- if you want your audeicne to want to download it, try building it like a book or magazine to fit the tone of your studio.
As an added bonus you've then got yourself a spnky new workbook. For those of us too lazy to download most things, I'd recommend a web version.

i think you should group the work by client/ job. Its wierd how its all in sections like 'logos' 'business cards' etc when they are all for the same clients. I think it would look nicer with all the work for a particular client on one page.

I think there needs to be a little more diversity in the clients and work you show. It's the same three or four clients, which, if you're looking at everything in a line, can get stale quick. The same logo can only look good for so long.

i agree with agentfour, group it by clients. i would also lose the photography section. they are very nice photos but it's better to just focus on the graphic design work.

brilliant! thanks for all of the comments. i am really getting a lot out of this.
as for the Photo section, i was unsure whether to put that in there. it isn't particularly strong nor is the Editorial section.
grouping it by client does sound better as I have been struggling with that for a little while.
i was thinking about doing something on my website but using SimpleViewer because I am really bad at web design.
what do you guys think?
again, really appreciate all the advice/comments.

It's a bit light on work, i'm not sure it needs to be grouped by client because they're not 'big' clients. Put your contact details on it. I especially on the inside back cover.
I'd suggest adding folios, if you're showing off your brochure designing skills in your brochure, I'd have page numbers, running heads and folios. Also, you list Editorial as one of your skills and your don't write anything anywhere. I'd include the CV on there and some paragraphs about you etc...
