    Why yes, I did just redesign my website, and yes, I'm trying to be less of a whore about it.

    Let's see... I learned:
    >Just because I have forever to work on something doesn't mean that I don't need to plan it out.
    >Forums are great help, but nothing is as helpful as a friend who knows PHP and can sit next to you and help you debug a script that just doesn't work.
    >Do not show anyone anything until you are done, because you will get bombarded by the obvious "this section isn't finished" comments.
    >Browsing the PVN and PBS for games is not 'research,' no matter how good your intentions are.
    >It is more useful to browse sites you hate and figure out why you hate them, than it is to figure out why you like the sites you do.

    Sorry if these are obvious, but hey, maybe someone will contribute something usefull afterwards.

    Hear, hear, Stratus. It's amazing how many people still need to learn this lesson.
