I have just dropped my girlfriend off at Heathrow, she is going to Thailand for 3 months to volunteer at a pet rescue centre. I feel low as f**k right now and I just wanted to share that with you guys...

Soulmates we may be, she inspires me, she loves me loads (she says!).
Day one is over and it hasn't been to bad, nice things where said last night I appreciate it even the Ping pong comment...
I am going over to spend a couple of weeks with her in September, then I will have to say goodbye all over again... Damn!
Still it will be good for both of us!!! I hope...

Don't mean to bring you down any further, but that sh*t about distance makes the heart grow fonder stuff is total BS.
Long distance relationships 95% of the time do not work. I tried them multiple times.

I really hope it goes well. BUT, these things tend not to. I'll wish for the best.
Personally, I wouldn't tolerate it. If you're together then BE together. Otherwise, it's done. But everyone has their own style.
