My understanding is Hitler designed the prototype for beetle in1932, Ferdinand Porsche took his concept though...

i've heard of boxsters having faster lap times then the 911's. I think they are nice cars. Their interiors are only decent. Well maybe the old ones.

the new boxster is technically THE best handling production car in existance, and design-wise, its heritage is that of one of the most prolific roadsters ever designed. S2000 etc have no heritage. a boxster has taken like 50 years to reach its point. and if you drive one, it BLOWS AWAY the feeling you get of any other roadster. i went 9 years before i drove one, and when i did, it totally changed my view of the boxster.
plus, you can raise/lower the top up to 30MPH - cant beat that. :P
