so i just got a new powerbook and have almost transfered everything over from my desktop. it's amazing, but my wacom tablet is on the fritz. everytime i get back to my desk and plug in the USB for the tablet, it freaks out and starts opening windows and randomly clicking. i have the latest drivers and the software installed, but still freaks out. anybody have this issue or know a fix? much thanks in advance...

this might go without saying but:
did you unplug your mouse when you plugged in your tablet? (if you had one to start with) mouse vs. tablet... FIGHT!
also, there's an option under system prefs/keyboard&mouse that disables the trackpad whenever a mouse/tablet(?) is plugged in.

thanks for the response...i actually have the settings in the syspref to ignore the trackpad when a mouse is present, but it still freeks out (selects and clicks on everything as i move the pen across the tablet) anybody have any fixes? i gotta get some work done....trackpad is way too inefficient....
thx peoples

mouse and pen should work together fine too if all drivers are correct
