I cannot understand yet how come an innocent man is shot 7 times in the head and shoulders and a fucking terrorist gets detained with a stun gun.

Honestly it's only matter of time before some poor chap with a rucksack gets a kicking.

(Aug 2 05, 03:22)it's already happening and it's not that funny.

(Aug 2 05, 03:27)Only what I read in the Times. Take it or leave it.

(Aug 2 05, 03:28)No I don't expect it is. I've been witness to kids joking about bombs on buses though - and I'll be kicking the next one.

(Aug 2 05, 03:25)the stun gun can't be used if they are suspected of carrying explosives because it sends a high voltage that would set off a bomb.

mx? they shocked that guy as well? that's new.

no anon, the one you were asking about...
you cannot run if you have more than a couple of volts potential across you, it has the effect of seizing up your muscles and not allowing them to relax, hence you are immobilised.
**********
On a side note if it is a DC current which flows through you then it is possible for your blood to electrolise and Hydrogen and Oxygen bubbles to form in your blood - this is particularly nasty as it will probably only kill you days after the actual shock. If the current is AC (and high enough) then your heart will try to pump at the same frequency (50 times a second in the UK) with the result that your blood will soon have the consistency of jelly and you will die in a matter of milliseconds.

that the dude wasn't running.

(Aug 2 05, 03:37)Well that's not my problem.

All I know is that I'm skipping London for vacations, I'll trade it for Berlin.
Don't want to be murdered by a trigger happy cop just because I'm wearing a backpack and can't hear a halt order because of my iPod

(Aug 2 05, 03:56)The police are trying to do their jobs. It was a horrific mistake that the officers will have to live with forever.
And yes, you should probably take out your iPod and be alert at the moment, a bit of common sense goes a long way.

anon
(Aug 2 05, 03:44)basically you're being a cunt.
that's what I read in the times. If you really want to check - I suggest you find a library that has all last weeks copies in it, because i couldn't even tell you which day it was. I'm sure there's also a whole lot of contributing factors as to why the guy was stunned rather than shot. I remember this one. I specifically remember it because the dead guy did run. I'm sorry i bother you. Maybe it's best you fuck off with your anal little comments and post somewhere else.

i think we're talking about 2 different guys moth.
i'm talking about the brazilian guy who got shot in the head multiple times who was, according to all media, running.
you're probably talking about the other guy.
so fuck you moth.
