i think keeping hope alive is at the core, but non-violent means are often slower in making change, especially since much of our potential "peacetime" activities are geared towards savagery, plundering, and violence anyhow (Hummers, Marketing Guns to Hipsters, Exploitation and apparent worship of the Aryan Woman in News Narratives, Exporting of Jobs, No Healthcare, Savage Housing Bubble, Racism, Violent Videogames that reinforce racial stereotypes, tourism that funds corrupt regimes and slavery, diamond consumption, corporate scandals etc....) So, subtract these items and War will stick out and believe me, we wouldn't be there, but these things feed one another. Your culture is War and War is your culture...mercy,
