change the typeface..it looks too clean and organised.
Pink side..lose the'what' and 'where' and maybe try a brigther colour with white text.
Picture side...do you have any oter imagery?

bluejam, so basically you tear it down till only the white squares are left?
personally don't like the font either. does not have a great summer feel to it neither.

ya i agree. maybe make the colour of the text different on the front-to hard to read

The text on the front is supposed to be hard to read, thats kinda the idea - to get people to turn it over...

dude, teh auto-trace is not that rad. I say use the photo or do a drawing. Auto-trace just ain't that cool.
I think the font/color scheme is fine for what you're going for.

HEY! nice work. change the leading on the back info part, not the same as the rest!
also, concerning that photo, either change it use that photo as a photo, not all weird looking. if it was a real b&w say, it would look saweeeeeet! keep refinin', my man.

can i come? haha. nice flyer. a more inviting pic would be rad.
at first the tracking on the type overall made it difficult to read. a bit irritating.
maybe spread the kerning between the words but keep the kerning between the characters tight. like this "summer party august 26th"
