which is my site as of now or
b) http://www.sincerelyhiten.com/pu…
also suggest correctios to B if you like it better but think its to colourful or hard to read or so on.
also if you hate them both tell me. I dont have the rest of B completed but the section will be similar to A.

Other than the large size I'd say the first. It sets a tone without saying too much. The picture of the couple leaves me wondering what you're all about.

What I'm interested in is, why do you have a link to an XHTML Validator, for a page that doesn't validate?
- kld0
your project info sticks sometimes in the over state, I'd see what I could do able that. Little distarcting if your mousing around other parts of the page.

Reverse type on a page with dominant bright color elsewhere is often distractive.
I'd go with A.Also, if you are going to do some changes, in the folio section, how about sorting the work in another way? Add a general overview of your work or something in that direction.
Personally I loose interest fast if I have to browse work one by one in a preset order...

the second one would be cool if it was layed out different with a simplistic background... otherwise, one is my choice

The first one, easily.

whatever one makes you feel better, dude... as you can see - it's very subjective - everyone likes 'em both... so it's up to your little heart now. :)

The first one.

I'm surprised....
Number 02 looks like the obvious choice to me.

the contrast in no1 is much better for legibility, but i initially preferred no2 because it had more personality.
the opening image on no1 is really boring. love the image in the bground for the "about" section. in fact all the images are more interesting than the first one you see on the homepage.
in both layouts there are too many words on each line. studies have shown 7-10 words are ideal, more than that and your eye falls off the line.
the centred "last updated" text on no1 looks awkward.

site a should validate, site b wont its not complete i should have meantioned that i was just for a visual appeal. it would have if i finished it. Yeah i was just fooling about in photoshop with a layot idea then it seemed easy enough for the web so i did that. is i guess it wasnt just photos
