We just got a new computer at work that has the Adobe suite CS2. Everyone else is running CS1.
Are there any issues with saving files back and forth between the two versions?

yes.

CS2 gives you the option to save your file in the regular CS version. If you don't and you attempt to open a CS2 file on a CS1 program, it does an odd masking effect to some of the elements.
It's probably safer for now to just save all things in CS1 format.
