Im driving with my wife from TX to Philly (24 hours ride).
What would be the best car adapter for a toshiba satellite?
is there like a generic converter to power my laptop from the lighter?

dayum... I drove from TX to philly two years ago 26 hours straight with two 45min stops (and getting gas)... what brings you to philly?

MarylandIt should take about 1 Day, not 1 day and 10 hours like Google says, specially at 90mph.
BTW, I dont think police radar detectors are illegal in TX. at least I havent been told any different by the police. Any of you know if they are illigal in any of the states named above?

ok you're taking the Northeast route instead of straight North then East through the Midwest.
be careful in MD, they'll bust you real good for speeding one mile above the limit.
