troll = someone who makes up a username just to be a total ass to people. the troll gets some sort of satisfaction out of that.
clone != troll.
clone = just annoying (if the the original username is quite active as well).
troll = should be shot on sight.

clone is simply a person with more than one username active at the same time. clones can have often jump into troll territory because they feel no one knows their actual username and they try to take advantage of that.
