What is the best way to allow users to download ringtones and move them to their phone? I am under the impression that some phones can interface with a PC through a cable to transfer the downloaded file from the desktop to the phone.
Someone told me the common way for all phones is to have the file sent to their phones email address so they can grab it from there.

you can do either or, what you mentioned. make your own, convert .wav to .mid etc. obviously it depends on your hardware

Thanks, is it true that sending them to the phones email is more reliable for a wide range of phones since only certain phones can interface with a PC via cable?
