looks exactly like GE's custom font – GE Inspira... somebody might have used that, but it's a trendy type style right now, and lots of similar fonts are popping up.

GE Inspira and I was the original poster here from a link from a New Zealand website. I have it mofos no longer available for download. It was freeware.. hahhahha! :)

I believe this is indeed Inspira. Zoom in on the Flash on geimaginationatwork.com and you'll see that all the letterforms are the same. Logotypes are often customized versions of existing typefaces, and in this case they changed only the ampersand. I think this sort of misuse is the very reason GE took their proprietary face offline.

Not really. WhatTheFont is limited to the MyFonts.com library, which is large, but does not include every foundry and font. Notable exceptions:

the problem is that most of the time, we look for free or cheap fonts.. and it becomes rare..
