Monday--another gorgeous day.
A small bird has been following me since we got here, recognizable--despite superficial changes in color and song-- because of its generally mocking tone, from the simple "haha" trill to the more complex ululations of "you've been drinking too much.". Last night we watched the stars from the deck and my daily life as a graphic designer seemed no more substantial than the play acting of a child. It took a full 20 minutes for my eyes to accomodate to the darkness and see the majesty of the night sky.

I had a great weekend of productivity and self absorbtion: started painting again and am really happy with the results (i'll post em soon), finnished the layout for my book in indesign.
anyways, the point is, having had time to reflect makes my life look really simple.
