thats great i was going to ask how to get para name wbmode to work in valid xhtml but it seems you have it covered cause i was getting that error on a site.

Sorry, I am a bit naive to Flash Object.
what is the point of it?

to embed an swf into a valid xhtml page and also have a javascript detection happen. it's a little more of a global fix for putting flash into pages than how macromedia does it.

Yeah good stuff. I would like to see a version number in the JS comments, just incase you update in the future and so I can see if I am using the correct (most recent) version.

as for mailing lists... there are none.. i suppose you could subscribe to the rss feed on my blog and that would keep you updated.

Found a small bug in the new detection function, so make sure you get the newest version (updated just now to 1.2.1) if you upgraded already.
