true version3. Personally, unless I have a specific reason, I would go with the more common spelling to avoid this confusion.
I recently proofed copy where a realtor wanted to use the term "movin'" but was adamant that it was spelled "moven." He already bought a domain with it spelled this way already so he didn't want to change anything, even though I gave numerous examples to prove "moven" was not the correct spelling.
