i've been working on a freelance project, and i was doing browser checks and found that the site works perfectly (style-wise) on safari, MacIE, Firefox and Netscape, but it won't work on PC/IE6! damn.
i've been struggling all afternoon researching it with no vain.
anyone got good links about fixing CSS for cross-browser compatibility?

here's how it is on firefox/PC:
see that everything is centered.
here's how it is on IE6:
shit shifts to the left for some reason.
also, on the first image, i'm only putting in "next" link (since there's no prev image), and all browsers but IE puts "next" in the position where it's supposed to be, while IE centers it. weird.

*high fives jevad.
when you move here, i'll buy you a beer or two.

fyi... if you use a transitional doctype and lose the xml declaration (replace with meta contenttype) then ie 6 will go into strict mode... the box model will be the same as FF....
everthing will validate and it will solve that problem without a hack... (for ie 6)

Wait for IE 7 then... (if they support CSS 2)

Did you figure it out yet?
The easiest thing I could think to do is take you div tags and whatever is between them and stick it all in a one cell table then align="center".

alternatively, you could put your entire layout in another div tag...
...layout of what you have...
then, add to your style sheet the following:
body {text-align:center;}
#container{margin:0 auto;width:760px;}the text-align should fix the IE problem....
that should do it, but let me know if it doesn't work...
