lots of hipster dudes that have ipods...
the only way it'd blow up is if they make those scratch pads bigger and priced it at half of what a CDJ costs... otherwise it'd just have to rely on hype and the ipod 'cool' factor

my killer app for ipod was to make an ipod that can play 2 simultaneous music streams (via 2 stereo headphone jacks) and have the wheel be the pitch control (a new feature ) that can switch from one stream to the other. this way you can show up to your gig, patch into the existing mixer and play.
their design requires someone to buy 2 ipods. and still no pitch control = worthless.

good point on the pitch control

when will people see that vynil and even cds is what i think a proper way to dj.

if it has no pitch control, and judging buy the picture it doesnt (the two sliders look like channel faders) then its just a paper weight .Unless all your music is at the same bpm. better of just buying a decent mixer and use you're ipod and home hifi/cd player. At least then you can upgrade to something with pitch control. what awaste of space. Aimed at brainless gadget freaks

i have seen ppl using 2 iPod as DJ's and did it pretty good too, but it's never gonna replace two 1200/1210's..
toeknee say it pretty well:

its a fucking great toy, i have and ipod as do most other people i know, and everyone is always trying to play each other their new tunes and take over the amp.
its not for clubs its for lounge rooms...
