(Jul 20 05, 19:01)Dude, we came in what 6th last time out of what 30 teams or something? Yeah the time before we finished dead last nearly but still. We beat the likes of Portugal and played the Germans damn tough and should have had two goals past Olie. Bad Luck.

I admit we for sure have many holes in that team, but the more they play over in the EU and in our own slightly amateurish league the better they're gonna' get. It's inevitable.

played competitive soccer till about 6 years ago, but education took over.. now my stamina is lower than the chances of buddylee posting in the pvn again

i had a good 3 year break from it too designerror, mainly to snowboard in the winter, ..but im back into it this season and really enjoying it
i thought id have the same issues with stamina, but suprised myself after a few games/trainings ! :)

Italy, as always, isn't listed on the top ten, but usally in the next WC, we will play very very bad but we'll arrive on the final against Brasil that obviously we will lose.

that ranking system is a steaming pile of shite.
Not that I'm saying the USA are a rubbish team, I expect they're not too bad, but the rankings are flawed and damaging to smaller nations in Europe and I'm sure S America too, where the standards are high - the lower you dip in the rankings (based on friendlies and in comparison to teams in weak confederations) the lower you go down the seeding system for qualification and the harder it all gets. Killing the chances for smaller nations.
Yeah that does mean Scotland, who are undeniably shite, but not the 85th worst team in the world. All down to friendlies, a slide of 60ish places and only lost 3 or 4 competative games in as many years (potentialy dodgy stat ;\)
