any one got some good examples of two colour printed work? prefrably magazine. I am working on a magazine and I only have red and black to work with, need some inspiration!

what program are you working in? If in InDesign, you can create ink swatches combining both colors in varying amounts. it opens up a lot more color options for you. And don't forget to use white as a color as well and not just as white space.
(i'm still looking for examples before i eat my dinner).

I have a lot of 2 color work on my site, don't know if will be any help to you. I guess most of my stuff is pretty limited in color pallet. heh.

search for el lissitzky, he has done a lot of red/black type compositions.

design in full colour using photos etc and the gradient map the final product only using black red and white. then half tone pattern it so it prints nice.

concur w/ doesnotexist, check out bauhaus, contructivist and de stijl, alot of that work is done under a limited palette..
