hey, if anyone knows how to help me here, please do, I'm lost, and short on time.
I've made a wall graphic in illustrator - it's 6 x 2,4 meters, - quite big. now, I need to export it into a grid where each part is 40x40 cm. the problem is. it seems impossible to crop and export each section and when I export the whole graphic, it's impossible to open up in photoshop for cropping and editing - because the scratch disk is full, or because "the image can't be parsed".
quite frankly, I always hated to use this program because I always run into problems that make me feel stupid - so all I can do is ask.
1) can I crop/divide this image into smaller sections and export them separately, or
2) export the huge image in a good way so I can modify and crop it in Photoshop???
please help!!!
thanks
andreas

in document settings you can select divide entire area, depending on how you set your doc up size wise and selected printer it should divide your entire document for printing. that way you don't need to slice it up manually.
