last time I remember, aladdin software ran stuffit expander, these guys are asking for credit card details to just run the 'demo'
fuck that.
- skelly0
Wow, it even locates files that have been erased from my hard disk. Lots of good that does.

Allume is the same company on Apple's site as well.

you'll also have .cue file for it. run the cue file wth alcohol120%.
you can download the free version at

thanks abhi, what about that bin file though? there aint no free version of stuffit around is there?
- abhi0
er no. a .cue file is an index file for the .bin file which is a .iso file variant. a .bin will work when it has a .cue file that goes with it.
if you have a .bin but no .cue, get BIN2ISO from the link below.
http://www.weethet.nl/english/do…
the .iso [simply put, this file will contain the entire contents of a CD in one file] can then be burnt on a CD with Nero and that should make it work.

best thing to use personally is Daemon TOols. Its free. and you just load a bin file into it and it opens it as if it were a CD rom drive. it works just fine on a PC. most very large files will come as bin files.

binary hexadecimal or some crap like that
- Bullitt0
So do I need some software to open a cue file?
- abhi0
you need Alcohol 120%. no pun here. it IS a software.
- Bullitt0
broken link, thanks anyway
