It's very street oriented.

yep. very street oriented. Has many elements of Love Park. I see what looks like ramps and such for getting into ledges, but that park would be awesome if it was split between street elements and bowls, etc. morphing into it.
But at least skatepark designers are getting feedback and interaction with skaters now. Some terrible parks have been built in the past by people who don't even know how many wheeks a skateboard has.

it looks like it would be a really good spot to skate...

Wholly (swear word)
you americans sure know how to do it, basically thats the best street orientated park I have ever seen. :D

this one at least looks like there are some banks and whatnot, whereas the dc plaza has zero transition at all.
although i still don't understand why philly don't just take the million bucks from DC and make it legal to skate love park? rather than spend more money on this park (though it will be fun.) mayor john street is an asshole.

because John Street will never give in.
and yeah, that one part does kinda look like Love park.
