What does your left hand do when you're working at the computer? Mine usually sits at rest on my lap.
Not a bad thing until you get a driving lesson and sub-consciously end up driving with the other on your lap. That makes it easier to change gear with the handbrake. Oops.
Think I'll be getting a reputation with the driving instructor if I do that again.

Intertesting question. No that you mention it, my left rests lightly over the following keys:
pinky finger on the TAB button
thumb on the apple button
and the others are just kind of randomly in-between

Yeah, suppose it depends on what you're doing on the computer. I think it might be more to do with the fact that your left hand is usually idle rather that where it rests.

I'm either scratching my beard, playing with my worry beans or covering my mouth while I yawn.
I do have to some times stop and use it for shortcuts.
Très interesting!

I usually have my legs up so my hands are mostly just rested there.

Sorry, let me clarify. You know how people have their feet up on the chair instead of having them flat on the ground. You know, lots of parents seem to hate it. Anyway, that was I do.
