Hey guys, got a quick question for ya. Say I want to make a curved stroke line in illy. And i want to get tangent points on the ends to create a taper effect. Anybody remember a hotkey for it or how to do it? I forgot. Thanks!

yeah illustrator. ok...say a make a stroke line with the pen tool. i have seen a way to grab on one end both of the corners and taper or bring them together. make sense? i know kinda confusing question. thanks

right. i'm nearly positive there is no hotkey for makeing a curved stroke. and about the bevel -- if you are refering to a stroke's cap or joint then select stroke > show options and select your appropriate whatever.

I just convert the stroke to outlines (Object > Path > Outline Stroke) and then do exactly as you said, grab the two ending points and move them together.

what a confusing question.
look up stroke styles.Make the shape you want to with the ends tapered, define an Art brush and apply on the curved stroke.
If you don't want the tapered part to stretch depending on the length of your curve you can use a pattern Brush.
