HAs anybody used or are you using good project tracking and CRM software on a network?
we currently have an home made access based system but its gettin a bit limited.
What to you use (or is it just pen and paper)

Personally, I use an Enterprise Software Application called ClearCase from IBM. It's source control and project tracking in one, but they are updating to something called Harvest. haaaa thety just spent $900,000 on it. what a RIP!!!

had a look at basecamp, problem is its held on their server we would be in a right mess if they went belly up and lost all our data

We use to use this then custom built our own based on what we found worked and what didnt but anyhing under the Groupware tab on the left is what you are looking for.
The site also list SugarCRM which we currently use and seem to work pretty well.
