haven't tried craigie street... but there are some other hidden treats in harvard: iruna, the high rise bread company, and the best lime rickey in town at mr. bartley's.
plus, if you haven't been into the italian grocery (Cardullo's) right next to the news corner, you are in for a treat.
i would wager that boston will prove to be more fun than nashua — at least, less strip malls...

i used to work at the central bank in arlington on broadway when i was on my 'graphic design co-op' from northeastern. quite possibly the most unproductive 6 months of my life. not only that, but i had to drive 40 minutes from west roxbury just to fucking get there.

though boyles market there is fucking awesome! huge subs for like $4. well that was back in 2002, might have been a little bit more inflation over time, but still...

Thanks Emma!
Cardullo's is awesome. Love Bartley's too. Changed so much in 5 years. Woah.
I used to live on Beacon St in Somerville, which is very close. Harvard Sq is still great, even though quite commercialised now.

anyone ever go to PJ Kilrot's? Outside Kenmore Sq.
- mattyd0
no, but ive been to an tua nua.
- GreedoLives0
where the eff is craigie st?
those frigging hippies go renaming streets again?
- mattyd0
haha, i was actually thinking the same thing greedo.
- pyeaton0
PJ's has a pretty good Juke, and cheap drinks.
love tua nua too.
Meet there sometime?
- GreedoLives0
for a proper pissup one should really visit JJ Foley's doontoon or Doyle's out in JP. Some place with character, not fake irish names.
- GreedoLives0
Rand, i'd love to give that craigie st place a try, but i have a feeling they wouldn't let me in the door.
- pyeaton0
Greedo,
PJ's is just a good dive. But I agree, Dotle's is the place. Maybe some ribs at Jake's next door.
- mattyd0
i agree doyles is a place to go to. though with all the hype around it now (Boston Public, Mystic River) the regulars there act as though their shit don't stink. but the bartenders are still cool as shit.
and if you've got some cajones, you can venture into the eire pub in adams corner.

greedo, I think they want to be a neighborhood kind of place
- GreedoLives0
that's a mighty fine neighborhood then...but i'll take the old gf over there saturday night. she works in harvard sq anyways and we need soemthing to do.
Get back to you on sunday.
- Rand0
thanks bro

The Eire is great......if you are alice when you get there. Real seed around that area. Have a friend that lives at Paisley Pk, and she will not leave her house.
I'll stick with Doyle's and the other assorted pharmacists in Cambrisge

I'm not, but while we're on the subject of the Boston area, has anyobody been to Craigie Street Bistrot in Cambridge? What did you think?
