I've been getting some unexpected decreased color saturation when I import png files into Flash. Anyone know why this happens?

Are you trying to match colors in Flash, from, say...a photoshop file?

Well, anyways....this has happened to me awhile ago. I think I changed the color profile for the document I was working on in Photoshop, and it started to match. I was trying to match a specific Hexadecimal color, and it was always way off. That seemed to solve my problem.

when I compare the image in the flash file next to the same image in photoshop there is a definite difference in color saturation. Not in all of the images but in some of them. same story after the image is exported to .swf

never happens to me hmmm

has happened to me before. I just used a jpg and it fixed it. png's are touchy sometimes and huge in comparison.

I only use PNG's when I want something to be transparent in Flash.

try messing with the color profile.....it will work.

I have the same trouble consistently... I usually just up the saturation inside the psd, but I am going to try changing my color profiles right now and will let you know what I come up with...

I did change it and it seemed to work, but I can not remember what I changed it to.....I will look now.
