Any video people who can help me?
I am trying to compress a demo reel (under 3 min) into a quicktime movie suitable for web. I have tried exporting from final cut and cleaner, but I get these wierd glitches on the fades.
You can see the problem for example right at the beginning:

The original larger file, which was around 100 mb and done with 2 -pass encoding does not have this problem.

Try a different codec like mp4 :)
or try restarting your mac and clear the p-ram and then see if that works...
You tried compressor? from FCP? it has some good web export features.
