I wouldnt worry. As long as you have quality work, places like DeviantArt will not be able to replace you, as was mentioned before, 99% of the work there is utterly useless.
Think about it, templatemonster, another completely useless and full-of-shit-work site, has yet to put us out of business, and they offer complete sites for 50$ lol.
Quality will prevail, trust. This is art, not business.

I remember when everyone was a part of Deviant Art, just a few years ago. Now it seems that everyone is going back. I dislike the layout, and most of the artwork is bad.
