Do you think anyone has ever been stupid enough to think that when you copy + paste, after pasting once, you have to go back and copy the same thing again to repaste it, and so on and so on?
No idea why I thought of this. I just know someone out there, some old folk or something, have done this.
Any other good computer idiot stories?

ha i have a cousin that works in tech support for HP, and he actually had the old 'my mug holder is broken' call.
also lots of calls with 'my computer's not working' because it wasn't plugged in.

I got a great one.
About 4 years ago I was asked by my gf at the time to help her mum with some computing basics.
However she had never really used a computer before, this was made apparent after I asked he to use the mouse to click on the my computer icon. Not understanding how to do this i told her to move the mouse up which would then move the pointer i couldnt help but laugh as she proceeded to lift the mouse into the air rather than moving up the mat!!

i helped my girlfriends father buy a computer and all he could tell the salesperson is that he wants yahoo and email. the way he was saying it made me crackup.

I used to do tech support for an ISP back in the 90's.
A lot of our customers were in rural wisconsin and michigan.
that is all I have to say about that.

it freaks me out when people that live further north than I do have southern accents.
