ps colorsettings problems

2: yes i have tried adobe helpso heres my problem... my grays in my pallete are warm grays and its driving me crazy. i dont know how to reset it because i have tried reseting adobe and it doesnt work. ive tried ctrl+shift+alt in startup, changing color settings, & punching both screen and box... all with no luck. i have photoshop 7.
please! any ideas before i pull out all my hair? arghhhhhhhhh!

maybe you need to recalibrate your monitor?
adobe settings usually are set to US Prepress Defaults.

well... it prints out in the warm gray scale... its not just on screen. think calibrating my monitor is still the problem?

sounds like it. depending on what you are using, you can use Adobe software calibration. if on a mac, use the color system pref to calibrate, or get the macbeth device.

i have uninstalled & reinstalled ps... its still f**ked. its not my moniter calibration because my grays are only warm is ps. ai grays are fine. i have NO idea wtf is wrong!!!! anyone?!?!

ya! just 8 short hours later i fixed it! my adobe gamma settings under control panel were f***ed. i hope this helps someone in the future. what an unproductive day.
