my granddad was a danish freedom figher and was shoot by germans for blowing up trains and ships hijacked by the germans.. I still have his armband from the fighter group he was in.

one of my granddads was captured by the germans but "bailed out" by Philips who offered them a whole bunch of radio's in exchange for him..
or something along those lines..

There was only 2 offical danish soldiers killed when the germans invaded the border, after that everbody including the goverment surrender ... officially that is.. the freedom fighters made it a pain in the ass for germans 24/7 though the entire war.. have a ton of great war stories about my granddad from his brothers

(Jul 10 05, 17:48)My great uncle has a purple heart which I've shown here plenty of times. Got shot up near Luxembourg, but luckily lived. That's why I talk so much sh*t about that area. Just know it from hearing about it as a kid and then went and visited it and General George S Patton's grave there.
