Hi im working on this site
www.designcliche.com
I disabled the horizontal scroll because I did not want it to go any further right than that box. Is there a way to constrain my text so that it can not go any further and starts a new line when it reaches the end? I thought this was simple, and mad a div a certain width and height, but when i type it, it pushes the box, and causes horizontal overflow, is there a way to make it constrain inside that box? Kind of like how this box just did, when i broadcast it, it doesent go any further right.

reduce the table size, and see if that would fix the problem.

i had a client annoy me with this question a while back...
type a normal paragraph in there and it will wrap like normal. there's now way of doing an auto wrap with html/css. someone told me there's a way of doing it with server-side scripting, but that's overkill imo.
no word is ever going to be 100+ characters.

Even if I make the table size 1 in width. It still exceeds the div. I don't understand it!

hmmm couldn't u just use iframes in this case which would pretty much solve the problem.

Do what NT does and chop up strings more than x characters in length.

exactly wat welded said. to be honest you wouldn't even have to chop up strings if you are using iframes.

Only way I know how to do this is to display the content in text boxes instead of divs etc, pain in the arse I know

does anyone know how I can use a wordwrap of 10 characters and it starts a new line, so it doesen't exceed so far over like that?
