I like the aesthetics but my one issue is the icons for each project..id like to see text or images diferentiating each link.

i'm thinking i'll have the project thumbnail as a rollover underneath the thumbs icon.

hmm don't know id you need that as a thumbnail underneath, perhaps if the icons were a little bit smaller to accomodate more great works to be put in....but i like the idea of it, keeps people clicking instead of letting them just choose anything....eliminates the ignorance of just picking a random color they like....know what im saying?

Nice but looks odd dumped on the straight white background color. Set it to a light beige to match the site.
I like how the site works. Nice.

I like the site, but the work is shown pretty small, just a personal thing, but I'd like the focus to be on the work, rather than the portfolio itself...

Otherwise, it looks pretty nice, although I would:
center the site in the browser.
get rid of the zero ( 0 ) in your 0,1,2,3 links and bump up the words next to it.

i am not here to look at this little package in the middle of my huge monitor (most of your audience will have a large monitor), I am here to look at your work. why make me squint?
I like the funtional simplicity just want the work to be BIG.

I wouldn't recommend using a pictogram from the Windows WingDings font as a unit form in the site - try working one up yourself.

I agree with snuggles.
It doesn't really seem focused on the work. It seems as much, if not more, about this interface that you have.
