Lost bookmarks

All my firefox bookmarks are gone. Can I retrieve them somehow? Also anyone remeber a recent site for japanese architect designer with circular image project icons which you could sort by year/type etc and the icons neatly re-aligned themselves? Arrgh I need my bookmarks

Check out what the file name for saving bookmarks is and then search for it in your entire computorz. Maybe it wanted to see the world, travel a bit you know.

you should use delicious or something.
i actually wrote my own web based bookmark thingy cause i always fear loosing mine

firefox stores them in.. yes, bookmarks.html
There's also a backup file bookmarks.bak next to this one that is updated on ff closing afair
