Good letter but people are not looking at it from the right perspective.
Hate is rarely directly functional nor has a clear goal, the danger of this terrorism isn't really that it kills people but that it inspires people to hate. In the end creating more terrorism.
You could think of these fundamentalist terorists as cultural separatists.
