i was stuck on the bus when it happened! I was asked to leave the bus but no one told us what was happening. so I made my way along princes street and then police were shouting at people to leave princes street. I eventually walked home there was no chance I was gonna get on a bus!!!!

crazy internets. so weird how in seconds you can see live how a bus gets investigated and seconds later talk to someone who just got of that very bus.

i was going the other direction but the bus stopped just opposite it so it could've caused damage if it went off there.

BBC 1 Scotland just reported that they're going to do a controlled explosion on the package..

the sad element of this whole mess is the package may not even be a bomb, hoping, but the whole fear of it is just an additional form of success for the terrorists.
