Anyone play this mother of a game?

Love it...
flying with the aircrafts,
Dont really understand the helicopter yet...And when I play on ground am always a special force

question:
why is it that player names do not always appear? Sometimes I'm unsure whether they are friends or foes...

only shoot the reds, blue are friend regardless of side.. played it a couple of hours at a buddys house.. ace game!

...but sometimes players don't have a colour over them, are they enemies as well?

dunno bout that.. i just shot anything without the blue tag and it seemed to work :)

planes are impossible to control tho...its so funny, sometimes a buddy gets in my plane and doesnt know I haven't the first clue how to fly the dam thing and I crash it in style and get sworn at alot! LOL

I was taking off from the carrier and a guy swooped down and blew me up. Then the game blamed me for the kill and banned me, haven't really played it since.
Also it runs like crap on my computer and there is no reason for that.

use the cursor key instead of the mouse for the planes and heli. that makes it a hell of a lot easier to fly them.. after a while you can move back to the mouse..

i played it on a brand new top of the line pc, so it was a pleasure for the eye and ear.. really could get addicted to it fast, so i'm glade i only have a Mac here at home.. BF2 = bad for people working home

Yes dont touch the mouse when using planes or heli!!
I think its a good game, but why not try americasarmy.com for a free and decent multiplayer game?

For using the plane i always use my keyboard...
I hate the menu... it is SO SLOW!!!!

The game runs great on my pc in single player mode, but lags really bad playing online. Does anyone have this problem?
I too find it difficult to recognize friends or foes inside the game.
And yes, tis bad for those working from home (like me)... heh.

They should have taken a leaf out of Joint Operations Typhoon Rising book for heli controls. That game is awesome.
Much the same but with some extras and slighlty better graphics.
Also lags more.
