Hello peeps,
I put up a url for critique a little while back and got some good but also some v. bad comments. Anyway I've changed quite a few things and would welcome feedback on the updated version...not just the design but also the photography...

Did not see your first one but on first impressions:
• the preloader is very cumbersen (?sp)
• So many links I don't know where to start.It looks more complex than it should be.

too loose, not tight enough. the design of the site makes the photos look bad, makes me not want to look at the photos.

Still don't like the logo but regardless, here goes:
Get rid of thumbnails/links on the bottom. What are they? They shoudl be categorized within the Navigation bar.
Next up, the navigation bar gets lost in the design. My eye should go directly to it. Seperate it from the mid-section.
Lastly, design on a grid, and air ot out. It's so crammed right now.
I'd critique the photos but such a chore to navigate I looked at panties in a back pocket and I was done.
Look slike good work, but you need to think a lot more about usability and navigation

it looks like you used a default frontpage template or something.

you're not far off - its jshops ecommerce package. gives great backend functionality but had to work round this...sigh

the nav dropdowns break in safari...i agree with the previous comments...the structure is just very loose right now and the typographical hierarchy is a little muddy...photos and product presentation qualities look very good though

For those who aren't bored to death... I've made some more amendments. I've realised I can't make any massive changes because of the way it is setup already.
Anyway, came up with a new colour scheme and I have got rid of some links - made the fonts nicer in the flash movie and combined the two drop downs at the top. After a few people saying I should center the content - I did...
I am much happier with it now anyway - think these small changes make it look much better.
Gonna get a logo guru to re-design the logo for me in a few months. Whoopie!
