Hi there,
Trying to find a copy of the typeface Ballmer Architype to purchase but I am having absolutely no luck. Does anyone know the foundry that recreated this font?
Any help appreciated.

It's available at the oddly inaccessible Foundry in the UK.

That font, btw, was not licensed by the estate of Ballmer and some of his pals aren't too pleased about it. The legit face was made by URW. Spacing is a little tight, but it's a good digitization.

Now I notice that the URW font has very little in common with The Foundry's font. Whoops.
I guess the Ballmer family should license that design as well.

Yeah, its The Foundry one that I am after. Thanks for your help.

that will cost a mint from The Foundry. Griffith University here in Qld use Foundry Sterling for their corporate font and all supliers have to buy a copy. big family and only 1 italic (book)?!?
the foundaries trying to seem top-end i guess, but with only 1 italic in an expensive font family it seems a little under-worked. maybe that's just me?

High-end cost. Low-end value.
